Two of our three workshop days for young musicians have proved a resounding success with participants, tutors and parents saying how much they enjoyed and how much the young players got out of them. If you would like to see what when on at the recent brass day take a peek at the Youtube video below. We were delighted to have the Kingston Music Service take part in this exciting day and have formed an excellent relationship with them that we hope will allow further collaboration and opportunities for learning for local youngsters. Broadstone Music Series Director, Alison Kay said: “It is a lot of hard work to put on these workshops but to see the enthusiasm of the kids and the inspiring expertise of the music tutors makes it all worthwhile. We are grateful for the support of Soundstorm once again in making this event possible; Yarrells School for the venue and thanks to our fabulous tutors.”
Our piano day is scheduled to take place on 23rd June and looks like a fun and educational day too. Look out for the updates both here and on our Facebook page.
