Bach’s Coffee Cantata & Fauré Requiem

Don’t miss this special coffee themed event — an afternoon of coffee, cakes, and wine, Bach’s rarely performed miniature comic opera, and Fauré’s Requiem.

Featuring Isabelle and James Atkinson (Royal College of Music), Adam Maxey, and the Salisbury Chamber Chorus; conducted by Lynton Atkinson.

Afternoon programme:

3.45pm coffee and cake served in church hall.

4.30pm “Coffee Cantata” performance in the church with soloists (Isabelle and James) with a professional ensemble including: Sam Hanson: harpsichord, Jennifer Curiel: violin, Andrew Foot: violin, Alison Kay: viola, Judith Bergin: cello, David Kenihan: double bass.

5pm glass of wine or soft drink ( Donations gratefully received)

5.30pm Faure’s Requiem soloists include Adam Maxey and Charles Wheelan, with Salisbury chamber chorus, young and older local singers join for the occasion, & Broadstone Music Series chamber orchestra.
