Our Summer Celebration Concert in aid of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee…..at St John’s Church Broadstone

Broadstone Sinfonia – our popular orchestra of local professional musicians, joined by some of our undergraduate musicians and the choir from St Peter’s Church, Ashley Cross Parkstone.

SUMMER CONCERT – Our Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Celebration Concert 

Our professional Broadstone Music’s Sinfonia Musicians, will celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee through some beautiful popular music in a special summer concert. It will include a selection of classics to mark this important year for our monarchy! 
We will be joined by St Peter’s Church Choir, Ashley Cross in this musical celebration, with Choir director, Richard McLester!

Mozart – Sinfonia Concertante, performed by our Royal College of Music and Merton College Oxford undergraduate musicians, Lewis Lee (violin) and Joseph Berry(viola)
Vaughan Williams – Fantasia on Greensleeves, a work performed historically on Royal occasions, while we mark Vaughan Williams’ 150th birthday this year.
