Jean Holt (accompanist for the bassoon masterclass) is a graduate of the Royal College of Music where she studied violin and piano, specializing in piano accompaniment. She then enjoyed a long career teaching music in several Dorset schools. For much of this time, Jean was Musical Director of the Bournemouth Gilbert and Sullivan Society, a position that she retired from in 2013. She now runs a local adult choir ‘Cantabile’, which gives regular concerts at St Luke’s Church in Parkstone.
