Working as a freelance cellist, Jay regularly performs in and around London. Since graduating from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2011, performances have taken him to the Southbank Centre, Kings Place, Cadogan Hall and the Royal Albert Hall. At Buckingham Palace, Jay performed in the presence of Her Majesty the Queen, and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh.

He has also appeared on BBC Radio 1, Radio 6 and local radio, as well as appearing in music videos amassing thousands, and even millions of views.
