Christmas Celebration   A Box of Delights

Monday, December 20th at 7pm at St Peter’s Church, Parkstone,  BH14 ONN

With Christmas fast approaching, we’ve been working on how to present the best and safest concert for you to enjoy and especially how to give our very keen senior young musicians the best opportunity to perform and to showcase their continued hard work.

To this end, we have put together a seasonal concert of chamber music with a variety of small groups featuring strings, wind, voice and piano. They will perform music from the Baroque and Classical periods as well as more modern Christmas favourites. Telemann, Beethoven and Handel will feature along with other well-known composers seasoned with a few jolly readings.

Although many aspects of life seem to be returning to a kind of “normal”, we still want to exercise caution in our approach to live music. It is for this reason that we have chosen St Peter’s Church in Parkstone as our venue. It is a very large space with a high roof and can accommodate a large audience with discretionary social distancing. The Church has a lovely atmosphere at Christmas and this should be a beautiful concert. We hope very much that you will join us to celebrate our young musicians at this special time of year.

There will be a short interval with mulled wine and mince pies.

We look forward to seeing you on Monday 20th December

Tickets are available at £10 and £3 for under18’s available on our ticket source here or click link above.
