In addition to this, the locally well-known Music educator, Cathy Murray, is taking a term of MUSIC FOR FUN – MUSICIANSHIP CLASS on a Monday, from 5 to 5.30pm. This is aimed at all young musicians to develop musicianship skills through improving sense of pulse and aural. This is specifically aimed at supporting children on their musical journeys and helps prepare for exam aural tests and music theory.
It is popular with cost of £8 for the term to any child. You do not need to be part of Mini Maestros to take part but you do need to REGISTER HERE to take part. We are grateful for support from SoundStorm & WYMT

SoundStorm offer means-tested support up to £300 per year towards music provision.

Working closely alongside our hub partners SoundStorm, we were delighted host an evening Musical Centre based mainly at Parkstone Grammar School to create new opportunity options for local young musicians. Learning and playing together is well known to inspire and speed up progress in a musician’s learning. We always keep our fees as low as we can in our charity and are grateful for all the help and support we get from local private sponsors including Richard Bagley, Wessex Young Musicians Trust, Mr Stuart Archer and our Hub Partner Soundstorm Music Agency who guide and support most of our Education work in some way.
